Our Worlds of Adventure is dedicated to being a positive force on the internet, and a big part of that involves being a safe space for ALL geeks (all genders, all races, all sexual orientations, all body types, etc.) to share their passions, explore their favorite fandoms, and express their opinions.
We absolutely love it when you comment and share! We specifically created this website to foster community. So, please join in the fun and conversation by sharing your opinions and ideas in the comments section of each blog post!
We want you to love visiting Our Worlds of Adventure – to love joining in and geeking-out. We also want you to feel safe to contribute. So we will attempt to create a safe space for all of our readers by not allowing certain types of comments. It is our hope that doing so will make Our Worlds of Adventure a fun place to visit. (Because we definitely love to have fun around here!)
Specifically, we absolutely will not tolerate any comments that are belligerent, aggressive, abusive, or hateful, whether such comments be directed at our writers, other commenters, or specific groups of people identified by gender, race, sexual orientation, body type, etc. We’re all about love and inclusion here at Our Worlds of Adventure and, thus, we reserve the right to delete any comments displaying any of the above mentioned speech.
Additionally, we attempt to be a safe space for all ages. We, as well as many of our readers, are in the process of raising geeklings, and we proudly support both parents and their geek spawn! We strive to be a place both parents and geeklings alike can visit for inspiration on celebrating their favorite fandoms. As such, while I (Sarah) have been known to swear like a sailor IRL, I will strive not to do so on this website and ask additionally that all commentors also refrain from the use of any profanity. We reserve the right to delete any comments that use profane language.
Okay, “bad stuff” over! Now go forth and have fun! We are so glad you’re here!
